Everyting you do stems from the mind, including golf. Just becacuse you want your mind to be quiet, it does not mean golf is not a mental game. The synergy that is developed when the the body and mind come together in golf is special.

Karl,

I found this thought VERY interesting that golf is NOT a mental game! Til now, I have worked SO hard on my mental side of the game that, as you said, it's become thinking about the thinking. However, I DO believe that I still have to take one tool at the time out on the course and let it become second nature, before I can stop thinking about the thinking!!! My swing has become less complicated and less tecnical, but I'm still working on my mind, before I can "let go". Even then, I still lthink you have to CONSTENTLY check(after the round!) that you have done your rituals correctly! But yes, mind and body in a syncronized rythm!

Kind regards
