Course 2: Building an Effective Pre-Shot Routine
The one inescapable truth about being human is that we are creatures of habit.
We might like to think of ourselves as spontaneous, unpredictable individuals, but if we look carefully we find that patterns and habits can be found at all levels of our lives. From the way we get dressed in the morning to the way we choose our partners, there are familiar patterns everywhere.
Quite simply, our minds crave familiarity.
Of course, some patterns and habits are unhelpful, but others are very useful. Ask yourself the following questions:
- Is your current pre-shot routine working well for you or not?
- Does it allow you to stay focussed and relaxed whilst playing your shot?
- Do you know why you do the things you do in your pre-shot routine?
This course will cover all the elements that make the difference between a pre-shot routine that works and one that doesn't, as well as teaching how to stay relaxed and focussed during your shots.
You'll learn how an effective pre-shot routine can help you get into "the zone", as well as simple and practical techniques that you can apply immediately.
